I finished my Bachelor of Religious Education at Tyndale University this week. Isn't that amazing?

Squeezed in a wonderful degree amid the crazy life of Listen Up TV, every Thursday night, four hours long and then the homework. Why?  Well, as our show points out, you can only give away what you have to those who want to learn.

On the show this week we learned our children want to learn our spiritual truths, and they are happiest when they do. I may have felt adequate teaching my kids, but as every week I find myself teaching in media, I really felt I needed more insight. That's why I went back to school and it feels so great to have finished a goal. I would heartily recommend we all take a course in Christian History at the very least – it's so helpful to understand what has shaped the mystery of God with us.

Another milestone to celebrate:

Congratulations Ellie!

Congratulations Lorna! I totally agree with you about Christian history. Studying how the church got to where it is will revolutionize anyone's understanding of the RC church, denominations, creeds and the dangers of the present trend away from doctrine.
